Have you ever wondered if a GMC vehicle is really a Chevrolet vehicle?
The answer is a little complicated.
The General Motors Truck Company (GMC) is a leading truck company in its own right.
However, you may notice that a lot of GMC vehicles look like Chevrolet trucks.
Although GMC and Chevrolet are two separate motor companies, that do mighty fine on their own, they are both manufactured by the same company, General Motors (GM).
Thus, technically GMC is not a Chevy, they just look a lot alike due to them being produced by the same manufacturing company.
Yes one may look different than the other but at the end of the day they have a lot of the same engine components, transmissions..
